Warehouse Stock Controller

Role Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to take ownership of stock accuracy within a fast-paced warehouse operation based in Hayes.
This role will focus on maintaining accurate inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and supporting operational efficiency across the warehouse. You will play a key part in ensuring stock integrity, improving processes, and providing accurate reporting to both operational teams and senior management.

Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of stock accuracy across the warehouse
- Carry out cyclical stock checks and support full stock takes
- Investigate, report, and resolve stock discrepancies
- Act as the key contact for stock-related issues (missing stock, errors, variances)
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems
- Process authorised stock adjustments
- Support stock transfers and offsite storage coordination
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve stock queries
- Produce accurate inventory reports using Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stock control, inventory, or warehouse role
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations (goods in, fulfilment, inventory control)
- Experience using WMS/ERP systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator across teams and departments
- Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive mindset
- Knowledge of health & safety within a warehouse environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
