Maintenance Officer – Dorchester

Location: Dorchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: £13.95 per hour
Start Date: ASAP (cover required from 6 August 2026)

We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Officer to join our client’s team in Dorchester. You’ll be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs, completing routine health and safety checks, maintaining the grounds, and helping to ensure our care home provides a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

What we’re looking for:

– Experience in general maintenance (painting, basic plumbing, electrical repairs, decorating, etc.)

– Good communication and organisational skills.

– A reliable, self-motivated team player.

– Basic computer skills.

– A flexible approach to work.

Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or a trade background.
