INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manufacturing Manager to lead the operations of our Greensboro facility. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards while optimizing the facility's infrastructure and production equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in facilities management within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to manage teams effectively and coordinate seamlessly with production and engineering departments. Union management a plus.</li><li class="pf1">Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance programs to ensure the facility’s infrastructure and production equipment are in optimal condition.</li><li class="pf1">Coordinate with the production team and manufacturing engineering team to support manufacturing activities and ensure minimal downtime.</li></ul>WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)<ul><li class="pf0">Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li><li class="pf0">Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.</li><li class="pf0">Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and security systems.</li><li class="pf0">Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Project management experience a plus.</li><li class="pf0">Ability to manage budgets an negotiate contracts effectively.</li><li class="pf0">Proficient with facility management software and Microsoft Office Applications.</li><li class="pf0">Familiar with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards. Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.</li><li class="pf0">Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.</li><li class="pf0">FMP certification a plus.</li><li class="pf0">Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul>Vontier partners with you and your family on your health and wellness journey.
