We are recruiting exclusively on behalf of the Leicester Tigers who are seeking a Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of their Women’s commercial programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an evolving and high-potential area of the business, helping to elevate the profile and commercial success of the Women’s team.
Working closely with internal commercial, marketing, and delivery teams, you will take ownership of driving new partnership revenue while also managing and developing key partner relationships.

We are recruiting exclusively on behalf of the Leicester Tigers who are seeking a Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of their Women’s commercial programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an evolving and high-potential area of the business, helping to elevate the profile and commercial success of the Women’s team.

Working closely with internal commercial, marketing, and delivery teams, you will take ownership of driving new partnership revenue while also managing and developing key partner relationships.

Role & Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Drive new partnership revenue by identifying and securing commercial opportunities across a range of sector
  • Take Women’s team commercial rights to market, generating leads and building a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, clearly articulating complex partnership opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing partners to maximise long-term value
  • Support the successful delivery and activation of Women’s partnership rights in collaboration with internal teams
  • Work closely with ticketing teams to support attendance and revenue growth for Women’s fixtures
  • Represent the Women’s team at matchdays, events, and industry networking opportunities
  • Monitor market trends and the sponsorship landscape to identify new opportunities and maintain commercial awareness

About You as the Business Development Manager:

  • Proven experience in business development, sponsorship sales, or consultative commercial roles
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical and strategic thinking ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience using CRM systems is desirable
  • Understanding of partnership activation and sponsorship measurement
  • Passion for women’s sport with a proactive, positive, and professional approach
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • This role will involve travel, as well as evening and weekend work to support matchdays, events, and partner engagement activities. Flexibility and commitment are essential to meet the demands of the role.
