Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Patient-Centered Primary Care Greenville, NC Medical Assistant – Multi-Specialty Primary Care | Patient-Centered Practice Location: North Carolina Organization: Carolina Clinic for Health and Wellness About the Opportunity Carolina Clinic for Health and Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. RDMG is comprised of several highly respected practices across North Carolina and is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals and families of all ages. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality clinical care across primary care, internal medicine, gynecology, and urgent care services. Position Highlights - Full-time position in a multi-specialty outpatient setting - Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff - Diverse patient population — pediatrics through geriatrics - Blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities - Supportive, team-oriented culture focused on patient experience and quality care - Opportunity to grow within a well-established, independent medical group Responsibilities - Assist providers during patient exams and clinical procedures - Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic testing - Record accurate patient histories, vital signs, and clinical information - Administer medications and injections as directed by providers - Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked examination rooms - Manage and update patient medical records within the EHR system - Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and health conditions - Triage patients and support urgent care needs as required - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Qualifications - Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or a related field preferred - Previous experience in medical-surgical, internal medicine, gynecology, geriatrics, inpatient, or urgent care settings strongly desired - Solid understanding of basic physiology and internal medicine principles - Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred Why You’ll Love Working Here - Be part of a respected and growing medical group across North Carolina - Collaborative care model that values teamwork and professionalism - Meaningful work making a direct impact on patient health and well-being - Supportive leadership and opportunities for long-term career development 📩 How to Apply If you’re a Medical Assistant who values teamwork, compassion, and delivering exceptional patient care, we’d love to hear from you.
