Bijgewerkt 22/04/2026 Short‑term, high‑impact procurement project Tactical buyer role in manufacturing Over onze klant Our client is a well‑established organisation operating in a technical manufacturing and production environment, with a strong focus on assembly operations.Due to temporary capacity constraints within the procurement team, they are seeking an experienced professional who can quickly step in, navigate complex systems, and safeguard operational continuity within the factory. Functie As a Tactical Buyer A.I., your key focus is to ensure that everything the factory needs is delivered on time and in full. You will not introduce new suppliers or sourcing strategies, but instead maintain and manage existing procurement processes.Your responsibilities include: Ensuring the timely and complete delivery of materials and services to the factory (top priority). Ordering technical goods and services based on weekly planning, framework agreements, and budgets via the ERP system. Working with item numbers, planning reports, and purchase orders, including follow‑up and expediting where required. Requesting and analysing quotations and submitting recommendations to responsible stakeholders. Conducting limited negotiation with suppliers on terms and conditions under supervision. Administrative handling of purchasing files and monitoring compliance with existing contract agreements. Monitoring key buying files and procurement topics that require attention. Identifying process bottlenecks and contributing to improvement initiatives. Close internal coordination with production and planning to ensure alignment. Profiel The ideal Tactical Buyer a.i. brings: Proven experience in a technical manufacturing or assembly environment (e.g. automotive, IT hardware, or similar). Strong background in a tactical or senior purchasing role. Solid experience working with ERP systems; the ability to quickly find your way through complex systems. A structured, detail‑oriented way of working with excellent organisational skills. A proactive mindset: you think along, take ownership, and propose improvements when needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. Fluency in Dutch is mandatory; English is also required for the international environment. Availability for 32 hours per week. Please note: this role is exclusively available for self-employed (ZZP) professionals.
