Kent - QSW - CP

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection/Child in Need (CP/CIN) Team in Gravesend, Kent. As a Qualified Social Worker in the CP/CIN Team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practice.
• Attending and participating in multi-agency meetings and court proceedings as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
