We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to lead and optimize assembly and repair teams and processes across NACOS Marine’s global locations. You will be responsible for safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in both internal workshops and external partner operations. The role involves managing high-variety, low-volume mechatronic products and collaborating closely with service, project management, engineering, procurement, and external partners. You will lead both directly reporting team members and process-controlled dotted-line teams, fostering operational excellence, coaching, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a global assembly and repair team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Build and optimize assembly and repair processes for high quality, efficiency, and safety
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet business and customer requirements
Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics
Provide technical guidance, training, and coaching to team members
Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten turnaround times
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in team and technical leadership within a global setting
Strong background in assembly and repair processes for mechatronic products
Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
Results-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%)
