Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in secondary education and a passion for supporting young people? We are working with a welcoming and well-supported secondary school in Gateshead seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in the classroom, understands the secondary curriculum, and is committed to making a meaningful impact on students’ progress and wellbeing. The Role Full-time position supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 Working closely with teachers to deliver targeted classroom support Supporting students with varying needs, including SEND and behavioural support Building positive relationships to promote engagement and learning We Are Looking For: Previous experience working in a secondary school setting (essential) A confident, proactive individual who can manage classroom situations effectively Strong communication and behaviour management skills A genuine commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development Someone seeking consistent, full-time work Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Relevant experience working with young people in an educational setting Right to work in the UK Why Join Us?
