About the Role
BBIS has an opening for a 1-1 School Assistant (f/m/d)
Part-Time: 14,5 working hours per week
Start date: asap
Limited initially
YOUR QUALIFICATIONEducated to degree level
A ‘Special Needs’ qualification preferable
Relevant experience working with students with learning needs in a mainstream environment
Confident, self-motivated and with great people skills
Experience of collaborating and working in teams
Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
Important: Before beginning the employment at BBIS, the following documents must be submitted:
Proof of immunity against measles, which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively, a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree
An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.
These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.
OUR OFFER
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIESTo ensure a primary school student with identified social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs has access to the IB PYP curriculum through the provision of in-class support
To work collaboratively with mainstream colleagues to provide appropriate student support and the necessary program modifications and classroom accommodations
Track and report student progress against identified academic, social, emotional or behavioural targets
Collaborating with mainstream teachers and departmental colleagues for student success
