<p><strong>Time Critical Freight Operator</strong></p>
<p>📍 <strong>Location:</strong> Feltham, Heathrow (LHR)<br /> 🕒 <strong>Hours:</strong> 4 on / 4 off, 07:00 – 19:00<br /> 💰 <strong>Salary:</strong> £40,000 + 10% Shift Allowance</p>
<p>We are currently recruiting for an experienced <strong>Time Critical Freight Operator</strong> to join a well-established, global freight forwarding business based at <strong>Heathrow</strong>.</p>
<p>With a presence in <strong>120 locations across 30 countries</strong>, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a <strong>market-leading, multinational organisation</strong> specialising in <strong>urgent and high-priority logistics solutions</strong>.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience managing <strong>time-critical shipments across air and road freight</strong>, including <strong>hand-carry / onboard courier (OBC) movements</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>You will be responsible for managing <strong>end-to-end time-critical shipments</strong>, ensuring urgent consignments are delivered efficiently and within strict deadlines. This includes coordinating <strong>air freight, express road movements, and hand-carry solutions</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Handle <strong>time-critical import and export shipments</strong> from start to finish</li>
<li>Coordinate <strong>air freight and road freight movements</strong>, including express and next-flight-out (NFO) solutions</li>
<li>Arrange and manage <strong>hand-carry (onboard courier) shipments</strong> for urgent deliveries</li>
<li>Complete <strong>customs clearances</strong> accurately and efficiently</li>
<li>Raise <strong>HAWBs and MAWBs</strong>, and manage all relevant documentation</li>
<li>Provide <strong>competitive quotations and pricing solutions</strong></li>
<li>Liaise with <strong>airlines, hauliers, overseas agents, and customers</strong></li>
<li>Deliver <strong>real-time updates</strong> and proactive communication to clients</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong <strong>client relationships</strong>, supporting repeat and new business opportunities</li>
<li>Negotiate with <strong>carriers and suppliers</strong> to achieve the best service and rates</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in <strong>freight forwarding operations</strong>, ideally within <strong>time-critical logistics</strong></li>
<li>Strong knowledge of <strong>air and road freight (imports & exports)</strong></li>
<li>Experience handling <strong>urgent shipments and tight deadlines</strong></li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>customs processes and declarations</strong></li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure in a <strong>fast-paced, reactive environment</strong></li>
<li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li>
</ul>
