About the Role

Housing Management Solicitor - Birmingham - £55,000 - £75,000 DOE

If you're looking for genuine flexibility, early responsibility, and the chance to build your profile within a nationally recognised firm, without being pigeonholed into disrepair work, this could be the move for you.

A highly regarded, top-tier ranked national firm is looking to add a Housing Management Solicitor to its Birmingham office. This is an opportunity to step into high-quality work from day one, with direct client exposure and clear support to progress your career.

What this means for you

More responsibility, sooner
You'll work directly with clients and handle your own matters, giving you the autonomy to develop confidence and credibility quickly.

Real development - not just promises
You'll receive hands-on mentoring and support from a Partner, helping you sharpen your technical skills and map out a clear progression path.

Genuine flexibility
The firm takes a pragmatic approach to hybrid working with the focus is on delivering for clients, not clocking office days. That means better balance and more control over how you structure your week.

High-quality, focused caseload
You'll advise on the full spectrum of housing management work, including:
  • Housing management litigation and advisory matters
  • Possession proceedings, including ASB cases
  • Tenancy management issues
  • Injunctions
Importantly, this role does not involve housing disrepair work, allowing you to specialise and deepen your expertise in core housing management matters.

The firm
This is a well-established national practice with a strong reputation for client service and a collaborative culture. The Bristol office is a key hub, offering the quality of work you'd expect from a national firm, combined with a supportive and accessible team environment.

The package - and what it gives you
  • £55,000-£75,000 DOE
  • Bonus scheme
  • Private healthcare
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Life assurance (4x salary)
  • 26 days' annual leave rising to 29 days
