Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of welcoming and well-regarded primary schools across Croydon who are seeking dedicated EYFS and Nursery Teaching Assistants to join their teams.With growing demand across Nursery and Reception classes, we are looking for caring and proactive individuals who can support young children during these vital early stages of development. Roles will involve supporting learning through play, assisting with phonics and early communication, encouraging social and emotional development, and providing tailored support for children with additional needs.The Role:Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support for pupils across Nursery and EYFSSupport pupils with mild to moderate SEND, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence in learningAssist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom managementHelp create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environmentWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to monitor pupil progress and wellbeingSupport the preparation of learning resources and classroom activitiesQualifications:Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE)Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and DevelopmentLevel 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to 7Level 3 Diploma in PlayworkLevel 3 Award/Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS The Ideal Candidate:Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)Have recent experience working in a UK primary school settingHave experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly in a 1:1 capacityDemonstrate strong communication, patience and adaptabilityBe enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and developmentHold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?Tradewind Recruitment is one of the UK's leading education recruitment agencies, partnering with a wide network of schools across London.
