About the Role
<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Trainee Production Operative<br />
<strong>Location:</strong> Stanford-le-Hope<br />
<strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time, Permanent</p>
<p>We are currently looking for a Plant Operative ( Fuel Industry) to work in Sandford-le-Hope. The role will involve executing daily blending plan as set out by the production planning and logistics schedule and to make sure that all the activities are conducted in a safe manner, following company process and quality standards. Work will be based outside.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Site operations, dealing with tanker receipts and despatches</li>
<li>Blending and product movement operations</li>
<li>Housekeeping standards including waste fuel handling and general tidiness</li>
<li>Stock rotation</li>
<li>Equipment checks and reporting any malfunctions or product inconsistencies</li>
<li>Working with the team leader to execute daily and weekly blending plan</li>
<li>Responding to blending issues</li>
<li>Assisting in other scheduled and ad-hoc activities to ensure smooth site operation</li>
<li>Participating in continuous improvement and safety initiatives</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or fuel-related environment, mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial machinery and knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., COSHH, COMAH), good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.</p>
<p>Due to the location of the site own transport will be required.</p>
<p>Work will be based outside in the yard.</p>
<p><strong>Rotating 3-weekly shift pattern</strong></p>
<p>Morning Shift 5am to 1.30pm</p>
<p>Afternoon Shift 1pm to 9.30pm</p>
<p>Night Shift 9pm to 5.30am</p>
<p>Salary 37k + Bonus</p>
