CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

About the Role
This role acts as a market copilot for the Benelux region, providing deep insights into market, category and competitive performance. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate complex data into strategic actions that drive growth. The position blends analytics, stakeholder collaboration and strategic thinking to shape future category direction.

Responsibilities
- Analyse market performance and key drivers to deliver meaningful business insights
- Prepare regular reports including period performance reviews and monthly summaries
- Conduct deep dive analysis on performance issues and identify growth opportunities
- Present insights and recommendations in management and planning meetings
- Manage relationships with external data providers such as Nielsen, GFK and IRI
- Maintain and update local databases with category and competitor data
- Deliver forward looking insights including shopper behaviour and market trends
- Support long term category strategies and market share growth initiatives
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to turn insights into actions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including sales, marketing, finance and supply chain

Requirements
- Master degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus
- Experience in analysing complex data and translating insights into actions
- Minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis, market research or consumer insights
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with Nielsen data, panel data or similar tools
- Ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience with YouGov is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
