Main duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Handling routine people queries and signposting to policy/process; escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Owning recruitment administration end to end: adverts and website updates, interview coordination, pre employment checks and references.
- Maintaining HRIS and payroll data and supporting the time and attendance system; auditing/cleansing data and updating user guides.
- Coordinating induction programmes and scheduling required learning.
- Producing people metrics and KPI reports for leadership.
- Booking learning & development, travel and accommodation; keeping accurate L&D records and supporting budget monitoring.
- Preparing contracts/variations/terminations, liaising with payroll and third parties to ensure smooth, timely processing.
- Minute taking for people related meetings and supporting compliance for Right to Work checks.
Applicants to this role require
- At least two years’ experience in an HR Department, with excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Confident communication (written and verbal) and strong numeracy.
- HR systems and Excel experience.
- Minute taking experience within an employment context and robust time management to handle high volumes.
- A thorough commitment to equality, plus the ability to build effective relationships at every level.
