We are looking for a new Business Development Representative to own the German market growth end-to-end. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, combining high-volume phone outreach with a data-driven approach to identify opportunities.</p> <p>Key responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Outbound Acquisition:</strong> Identify, prospect, and acquire new private landlords primarily through cold calling and proactive outreach.</li> <li><strong>End-to-End Onboarding:</strong> Educate landlords on product features, supporting them closely until they successfully score their first booking.</li> <li><strong>Expectation &amp; Objection Management:</strong> Confidently handle complex landlord objections while maintaining a professional partnership.</li> <li><strong>Success &amp; Revenue Optimization:</strong> Train landlords to use the product effectively to maximize their occupancy and revenue, while driving commercial growth.</li> <li><strong>Relationship Management:</strong> Build strong, long-term relationships with landlords, acting as their trusted point of contact.</li> <li><strong>Data-Driven City Strategy:</strong> Monitor your local portfolio performance, analyze the data and take action to improve your metrics.</li> <li><strong>Product Advocacy &amp; Problem Solving:</strong> Maintain a sharp eye for product issues in the user journey and proactively share actionable feedback.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Partner closely with Product and Customer Success teams to continuously elevate the landlord experience.</li> <li><strong>Innovation:</strong> Proactively identify and support opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your profile</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Native</strong> <strong>German</strong>&nbsp;and fluent in English.</li> <li><strong>Hunter Mentality: </strong>Proven experience or strong comfort with high-volume cold calling and managing a pipeline from scratch.</li> <li><strong>Commercial Polish:</strong> Excellent communication skills to negotiate and build trust over the phone.</li> <li><strong>Growth Mindset:</strong> Highly self-motivated and passionate about learning and improving.</li> <li><strong>Resilience &amp; Adaptability:</strong> Thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays positive through change and rejection.</li> <li><strong>Analytical Mindset:</strong> Ability to look at data to identify opportunities and improve performance.</li> <li><strong>Solution-oriented:</strong> Thinks creatively, overcomes objections, and finds practical solutions to customer challenges.</li> <li><strong>Innovation Mindset:</strong> Embraces AI and automation to work smarter and improve team efficiency.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What’s in it for you&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Depending on experience and qualifications, the compensation is ~35K gross per year (based on 40 hours, including Holiday Allowance), plus variable.</li> <li>Unlimited paid holidays, minimum-based not maximum!</li> <li>Position based in our Rotterdam office with hybrid working policy (2 office days).</li> <li>Flexibility to work remotely for up to 2 months per year!</li> <li>1,000 EUR personal development budget.</li> <li>Complete coverage for commuting.</li> <li>Personal equipment, including laptop and ergonomic setup.</li> <li>Gym membership discount with GoVital or OneFit.</li> <li>Dutch/English classes budget.</li> <li>Variable pension scheme.</li> <li>Diverse international community (46+ nationalities).</li> <li>Pet-friendly office in Rotterdam city centre.&nbsp;</li> <li>Team-building events and after-work drinks every Friday.</li> </ul> <p>What can you expect from our hiring process?
