About the Role

<p><b>Health and Safety Advisor</b></p> <p><b>Location: </b>EC2M &#8211; Central London</p> <p><b>Salary:</b> &pound;30,000 to &pound;35,000 DOE</p> <p><b>About Them</b></p> <p>At our client, Complete Fixing Solutions (CFS), they specialise in high-quality building solutions across West and Central London, working on Tier 1 projects. They pride themselves on delivering excellence on every site, maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction at all times.</p> <p>They are looking for a H&amp;S Advisor to join their team and support their existing HSEQ &amp; Projects Team. This role is ideal for someone with some experience in construction, a keen interest in developing their career health &amp; safety, and a proactive approach to learning.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Conduct site audits and inspections under supervision to ensure H&amp;S compliance.</li> <li>Support the preparation, review, and control of H&amp;S documents, including risk assessments, method statements, policies, and procedures.</li> <li>Assist operational teams with day-to-day H&amp;S queries.</li> <li>Help investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and support implementation of corrective actions.</li> <li>Maintain awareness of current H&amp;S legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.</li> <li>Support in promoting a positive H&amp;S culture across the organization.</li> <li>Assist in monitoring H&amp;S performance metrics and reporting to management.</li> <li>Keep digital records and H&amp;S documentation up-to-date, ensuring proper version control.</li> <li>Support in training initiatives and induction of staff on H&amp;S procedures.</li> <li>Liaise with external auditors or regulatory bodies when required.</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in health &amp; safety processes.</li> </ul> <p><b>Key Skills &amp; Attributes</b></p> <ul> <li>NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) desirable but not required &#8211; they are happy to train the right candidate.</li> <li>At least 1 year of practical H&amp;S experience, ideally in construction, facilities management, or a related sector.</li> <li>Basic understanding of site safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Computer literate: confident with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and H&amp;S management software.</li> <li>Good communication, organizational, and report-writing skills.</li> <li>Motivated to learn and develop professionally, with guidance and training from senior H&amp;S staff.</li> </ul> <p><b>Benefits</b></p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to work on high-profile Tier 1 projects across West &amp; Central London</li> <li>Mentoring and training from experienced site managers and project managers</li> <li>Career development opportunities within a growing company</li> <li>Company perks and benefits</li> </ul> <p><b>How to Apply</b></p> <p>If you&rsquo;re enthusiastic about construction, eager to learn, and ready to take the next step in your career as a Health &amp; Safety Adviser please submit your CV and they will be in contact.</p>
