About the Role

<p>An excellent Registered Manager role for a skilled social worker wanting to take charge of a children’s residential service, bringing leadership and invaluable experience to provide a system of care that focuses on bringing stability and nurturing environment that can support positive outcomes for children and young people.</p>

<p><strong>Roles and responsibilities include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and support a positive team culture, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective rota management.</li>
<li>Always safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.</li>
<li>Lead, coach, supervise and develop staff through inductions, supervision, appraisals and training.</li>
<li>Oversee care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support plans and incident management processes.</li>
<li>Monitor records, reports and compliance documentation to ensure regulatory standards are met.</li>
<li>Participate in multi-agency meetings and work collaboratively with families, social workers, education and healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Support recruitment, staff performance management and continuous professional development.</li>
<li>Ensure the home operates in line with company policies, safeguarding procedures and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Promote positive outcomes for young people, supporting their education, health, independence, emotional wellbeing and family relationships.</li>
<li>Contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing and structured home environment.</li>
<li>Participate in the on-call rota and provide leadership during incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement, reflective practice and high standards of care across the service.</li>

<p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people.</li>
<li>A Qualification in Social Work</li>
<li>Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or a relevant subject.</li>
<li>Experience in Managing and Leading a team.</li>
<li>Full driving license.</li>
<li>Full rights to work in the UK.</li>
