Key Responsibilities Deliver both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Operate and maintain building services plant, including HVAC systems, to ensure optimal performance Carry out effective fault-finding and minor installation/refurbishment works as required Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance Participate in a standby/callout rota and support continuous plant efficiency improvements Undertake statutory inspections, ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and procedures Use CAFM systems to log, update, and communicate maintenance tasks and projects Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications Apprentice trained in mechanical or multi-skilled engineering City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation (6188), Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (6187), or Building Services Engineering (6288) Educated to GCSE and A-Level standard (desirable) Previous experience in a similar role Strong skills in HVAC system maintenance and repair Familiarity with BMS systems and controls Pressure systems AP training/experience (advantageous – training can be provided)
