About the Role
<p><strong>Veterinary Surgeon – Hospital-Based Role | West Yorkshire, UK</strong></p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> Up to £60,000 (DOE)<br />
<strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends (days only)</p>
<p>Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working up complex medical cases? GVC are assisting a well-established veterinary hospital in West Yorkshire seeking a dedicated clinician to join their talented team.</p>
<h3><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h3>
<p>This hospital-based role offers the chance to manage a diverse and interesting caseload, with access to advanced diagnostic facilities and a supportive, experienced team. You’ll focus on in-depth case workups, non-routine consultations, and inpatient care, all while collaborating with colleagues who are passionate about clinical excellence.</p>
<p>At the end of each day, a dedicated night team takes over patient care, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<p>Conduct thorough consultations, diagnostics, and medical workups.</p>

<p>Manage and plan inpatient care for hospitalised patients.</p>

<p>Collaborate closely with the wider veterinary and nursing teams.</p>

<p>Contribute to a culture of clinical quality and teamwork.</p>

<h3><strong>About You</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible).</p>
<li>
<p>Experience within a hospital or multi-vet setting.</p>
<li>
<p>Confident in ultrasound and case management.</p>
<li>
<p>A proactive, team-oriented clinician with a passion for continuous development.</p>
<li>
<p>Certificate holder or interest in pursuing one (supported).</p>
</ul>
