About the Role

Specialist, Construction - E&I Specialist, Construction - E&I Job Summary: The Specialist Engineer – Construction (Electrical & Instrumentation) is responsible for providing technical expertise and oversight for E&I construction activities in oil and gas projects, including offshore facilities. The role ensures that installation, testing, and commissioning support activities are executed in compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and guidance for E&I construction activities on site. - Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction procedures. - Ensure proper installation of electrical equipment, instruments, cables, and control systems. - Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues. - Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project standards and schedules. - Support testing, loop checks, and pre-commissioning activities. - Ensure adherence to HSE policies and offshore safety standards. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. - Minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, including offshore construction. - Strong knowledge of E&I systems, installation practices, and industry standards. - Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams. - Good technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills. #LI-SS1
