<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>
<p>This hands-on technical manufacturing position involves preparing, operating, and maintaining specialized forming and processing machinery to produce high-precision metal profiles and custom components for industrial applications. You will manage machine setups, daily production runs, tooling changes, and troubleshooting while contributing to workflow efficiency and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.</p>
<p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>· Preparing and operating roll-forming mills, curving stations, punch presses, cut-off equipment, and related machinery to form and process metal components according to specifications.</p>
<p>· Reading and interpreting technical drawings, production orders, and process sheets to select appropriate materials, verify dimensions, and ensure accurate output.</p>
<p>· Conducting thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and completed parts using measuring tapes, calipers, micrometers, squares, and protractors.</p>
<p>· Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system issues with limited supervision while performing routine preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep.</p>
<p>· Safely utilizing forklifts, overhead cranes, table saws, radial arm saws, and various hand/power tools while strictly adhering to lock-out/tag-out procedures and all safety regulations.</p>
<p>· Constructing shipping pallets, crates, and protective packaging; marking, stacking, and transporting finished goods in accordance with established protocols.</p>
<p>· Maintaining detailed production logs, time records, material inventories, and work orders while actively participating in process improvement initiatives to reduce setup times and enhance overall efficiency.</p>
<p>· Supporting 5S workplace organization, sustaining a clean and orderly area, and promoting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.</p>
<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>
<p>High school diploma or equivalent; 2-5 years of related machine setup or forming experience preferred (comprehensive training provided for the right candidate). Strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting are essential. Forklift and overhead crane certification will be provided through company training.</p>
<p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p>
