IT Project Manager - Customer Migration Programme

* 6-month contract
* Outside IR35
* £350-400pd
* Remote with occasional travel (max once per month)

Overview:
The business is looking for an IT Project Manager to support a customer migration programme involving around 20 customers being transitioned into a new operational and technical environment.

The role will focus on coordinating customer data and workflow migrations, managing timelines and dependencies, and acting as the central point between customers, operational teams and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end customer migration projects
  • Build and maintain detailed migration/project plans
  • Coordinate stakeholders across technical and operational teams
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery progress
  • Translate customer and contractual requirements into delivery plans
  • Support discussions around infrastructure, security, workflows and systems connectivity
  • Maintain strong governance and documentation standards throughout delivery

Required Experience:

  • Must have previous customer or customer data migration experience
  • Experience managing technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong documentation and governance capability
  • Experience working within SaaS, systems, software or IT environments
  • Agile/Prince2/PMP certifications

Nice to Have:

  • Mailroom/document management systems exposure

Experience with Power BI and working with data models
Background in ecommerce or retail analytics
Strong commercial mindset and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to identify problems and explain them clearly, not just report numbers
