Health & Safety Advisor – Longford

DOE: €40k – €50K

Company Overview:

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor operating across the Midlands and East of Ireland, is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support projects across Longford.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Company’s EHS Management System on various projects.
• Promote a positive H&S culture on-site with Site Management, Contractors, and workers.
• Monitor EHS compliance on-site and generate weekly inspections & reports.
• Attend relevant HSE meetings as required.
• Develop, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred).
• Must have 2+ years’ Health & Safety experience ideally in construction.
• Previous construction experience with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Ability to prioritise work requirements and handling multiple tasks.
• IT Skills – MS Office packages and database experience.
• Full Drivers licence and willingness to travel.
