Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Rate of Pay: £100 – £110 per day

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across Grimsby.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development while making a positive impact in the classroom.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across the primary age range within the classroom.
• Deliver targeted interventions and provide one-to-one support where required.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• A minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience.
• Experience supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
• Ability to provide two years of references, including at least one reference relating to work with children.
• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
