In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and stakeholders to provide high-quality social work services that promote safety, well-being, and positive outcomes for children. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that support the best interests of children. Working in partnership with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure cohesive support. Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning. To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including: A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, ideally within a local authority setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
