IT Support Engineer

<p><strong>IT Support Engineer </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Linux &amp; Windows or only Linux experience needed! </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with solid experience working with opensource technologies to support out client for a 3-month project. You will be helping with a migration project and BAU tasks. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technical Skills: </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Solid IT Support / Systems server experience, ideally from a mixed Windows &amp; Linux physical and virtual environment</li> <li>Knowledge of Centos7, Red hat, Rocky Linux, NIS, Sun Grid Engine </li> <li>Knowledge of Linux Command line, bash </li> <li>Migrating Desktops and Workstations from Centos7 to Rocky Linux 8/9 or Debian/Ubuntu</li> <li>Migrating from NIS to Windows AD or LDAP</li> <li>Knowledge of Networking (HP, Cisco)</li> <li>Windows AD</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The role is based in Cambridge and there will be some onsite work due to the nature of the role. </p> <p> </p> <p>This is an urgent position so please send CV ASAP for immediate attention.</p> <p> </p>
