Job Description: Repairman – Assembly Location: Anderson, SC Job Summary TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Repairman – Assembly to join our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting various power equipment, as well as supporting assembly line operations and ensuring products meet performance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust power equipment rejected during the assembly process. Operate power equipment using manual and automated methods. Place equipment on test stations and make necessary adjustments to ensure performance and environmental standards are met. Train new personnel on various assembly line operations. Dispose of non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures. Support assembly line changeovers by preparing stations with correct instructions, materials, fixtures, and tooling (e.g., drivers, wrenches). Interpret and accurately complete charts, schedules, reports, forms, and other documentation. Maintain equipment in clean, good working order and report problems to the supervisor. Adhere to the company’s quality policy, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time. Follow 5S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions. Requirements Technical & Administrative Ability to operate and adjust manual and automated power equipment. Ability to interpret and complete required documentation such as charts, schedules, and reports. Basic math skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 100% of the work shift. Physical dexterity to perform required tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance. Strong mental and visual attention requires continuous alertness. Workplace & Behavioral Requirements Consistent adherence to all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE (e.g., earplugs, safety glasses). Cooperative, team-oriented attitude toward coworkers and management. Availability to work long hours and weekends as needed.
