About the Role
Job Title: Network Design Engineering Support Required: US Citizenship Type: W-2, Contract ONLY Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ (No Relocation Assistance) Pay: $70.00 - $80.50 per hour with limited benefits ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099- US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED*** Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule) Geologics is currently seeking a Network Design Engineer Support in our Scottsdale, AZ location to design and plan network systems, as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Minimum Requirements: US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of job-related experience. Enterprise Network Design/topology High-speed network design and implementation Maintenance of Network topology that utilizes Linux IDM/Windows Servers for DNS and Account Management, Juniper Firewalls, Arista Switches, and NAS/SAN storage Familiarity with Multicast, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc) Experience with vulnerability scanning, hardening, and resolution of findings Written skills to include development and maintenance of documentation for network, system, operations, etc. Familiarity with VMware vSphere and virtual machines Familiarity with Red Hat Linux operating system Please respond to Meredith Baldwin with your interest level, recent copy of your resume and your availability for a call to Mbaldwin@geologics.com *Rates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate.
