Lead System Engineer - R10 VoICE Projects
- End-to-end testing of product features, including non-functional testing of the X10 VCS and the integrated solution
- Own the lifecycle of test and staging environments: provisioning, configuration, upgrades, capacity planning Integrate and test off-the-shelf applications into our product offering
- Be an escalation point for environment issues; analyze, identify and document the root causes of all technical issues and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Requirements Engineering - making sure that customer requirements are fully traced and aligned with product requirements and functionality
- Support the continuous system level integration of our platform and products and identify and test relevant failure modes. Help identify mitigations to reduce the effects of such failure modes on regular operation of our systems
- Support our clients in the deployment and upgrade procedures of our platform
- All tasks will be done keeping in mind that we are operating in a safety critical Domain
- Act as technical lead for the system engineering scope
- Coordinate day-to-day technical work, priorities, deliverables
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching
- Ensure collaboration with stakeholders
- Contribute to planning, estimation, and resource coordination
- Act as escalation point for complex decisions
- Senior System Engineer / DevOps / SRE (or similar) supporting test/pre-prod environments.
- Knowledge of Unix and Virtualization technologies (VMWare)
- Docker technology and its orchestration
- Experience in running large high available server-based systems, and operational experience of micro-services systems is an advantage
- Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancing) and packet analysis tools (Wireshark).
- Experience with network and application monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana/Zabbix)
- Scripting experience (bash, Python) and a mindset to treat infrastructure as code
- Strong focus on IT and network security,
- Experience with an Integrated Identity Management solution is a plus (Red Hat IPA)
- Open to traveling to customer premises for delivery/deployment/training activities
- Good English skills (both written and spoken)
- Experience in technical lead / coordination role
- Ability to organize and prioritize teamwork
- Mentoring / coaching experience
