Nightshift Warehouse Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our chilled distribution operation based in Evesham.  This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in picking stock, keeping stock moving safely, accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive and dependable team.

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures between 2 and 4 degrees.

Shift Pattern

This is a full-time, permanent position working Thursday - Monday Nights between 18:00hrs - 04:00hrs. We offer flexibility in shift patterns, so if these days and times don’t quite suit your availability, let us know what you’re looking for, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Salary - £36100 - overtime paid for addition shifts worked

What you’ll be doing:

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller

What we're looking for:

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment, the cross-dock warehouse is a +3c chilled environment
• PPT ride on experience preferred
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines, accuracy and quality of work are critical
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
• Conscientious and reliable nature
• Positive 'can do' attitude 
• Overtime available for peak periods or holiday cover
