The Opportunity Do you want to play a key role in the global transition toward sustainable energy?
You will join a highly advanced engineering environment focused on HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) systems, enabling long-distance power transmission, offshore wind integration, and more resilient energy networks.
This is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale, high voltage and high current systems, where you will act as a key link between electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines in complex, international projects.
Your Impact In this role, you will apply your expertise in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) to ensure robust and reliable system performance across a wide range of operating conditions — from normal operation to fast switching events and extreme transients such as short circuits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve EMC guidelines, standards, and engineering processes
- Define and document EMC strategies and system-level requirements
- Support tenders and project delivery with technical expertise
- Conduct site inspections globally to ensure compliance and correct installation
- Collaborate with experts in RF emissions, grounding, and electromagnetic field modelling
- Contribute to R&D and innovation within advanced power systems
- Work cross-functionally with both mechanical and electrical engineering teams
Your Background
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Power Systems, or similar
- Several years of experience working with EMC
- Experience with high voltage / high current systems (e.g. HVDC, substations, power infrastructure) is highly beneficial
- Strong interest in both electrical systems and mechanical design aspects
- Broad technical curiosity and a hands-on engineering mindset
Who You Are
- A collaborative and solution-oriented engineer
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary and international environments
- Strong communicator in English (written and spoken)
- Motivated to continuously learn and develop within your field
What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary: 55,000 – 70,000 SEK/month
- Flexible working hours
- Strong benefits package including wellness allowance
- Clear career progression opportunities within advanced power engineering
- Ongoing training and development support
- International and diverse working environment
