We’re recruiting for an experienced and motivated
Duty Manager to join a well‑established marina located in Portishead, near Bristol. This is a hands‑on operational role supporting the Marina Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the safe and efficient running of the site. The successful candidate will also deputise for the Marina Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high standards of customer service to drive customer retention and new business.
- Ensure health & safety is central to daily operations and maintain visible environmental compliance.
- Maximise utilisation of the marina and boatyard, ensuring profitability across all income streams.
- Support communication of business updates and changes.
- Carry out operational duties such as assisting with vessel lifting, launching, towing and general yard and marina activity.
- Operate the marina lock (training provided if required).
This role requires flexibility, including variable start/finish times during busy periods, weekend work, bank holidays as part of a rota, and participation in an ‘on‑call’ out‑of‑hours rota.
