This role offers an established company, strong reputation, and existing accounts, but we are looking for someone who wants to hunt, grow territory, and build a book of business that pays.</span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span>If you have 2–4+ years in commercial construction, flooring, or project-based sales and you’re frustrated with capped earnings, poor leadership, or being treated like an order taker, this is an opportunity to own your territory and significantly increase your income.</span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><b><span>Territory</span></b></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span>Rochester and surrounding region including the Finger Lakes and Monroe County territory, generally within a 2-hour radius.</span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span>This is a field-based role. You do not need to sit in an office daily, but you must be located near the Rochester area.</span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><b><span>What You'll Do</span></b></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span>This is a sales and project management hybrid role. The sales team manages the full lifecycle of their projects.</span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span>Responsibilities include:</span></span></span></span> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Building relationships with general contractors, facility managers, and commercial clients</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Developing new business within the assigned territory</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Managing and growing inherited accounts from a retiring sales professional</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Identifying and closing commercial flooring installation and maintenance projects</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Managing projects from sale through completion</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Working closely with installers and operations teams</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Maintaining activity and pipeline through Salesforce and internal systems</span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span>Continuously prospecting and developing new opportunities</span></span></span></span></span></li> </ul> <span><span><span><span>This role is not for someone who waits for orders to come in.
