Year 4 teacher - Spalding

About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Spalding. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.

This role will involve taking full responsibility for a Year 4 class, including planning, teaching, assessment, and classroom management. The successful candidate will be supported with allocated PPA time to effectively carry out their responsibilities and deliver high-quality teaching and learning throughout Key Stage 2.

This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing until Christmas 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting learning where required
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
• Uphold school behaviour, safeguarding, and child protection policies

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Right to work in the UK and references covering the last 2 years
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
