SEN TA (Mornings only)

We’re looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school, supporting the classroom team during the mornings. This role starts 12th May and will run for at least 6 weeks, with the chance to make a real impact in a short space of time.

This isn’t just general classroom support. The school is keen to find someone with experience supporting additional needs, someone who can bring patience, understanding, and a calm presence to the day.

• Supporting learning in a lively Year 1 classroom
• Providing additional support to pupils with extra needs
• Helping children stay engaged, confident, and on track
• Working closely with the class teacher to create a positive, nurturing space

The details

• Start date: 12th May
• Duration: Minimum 6 weeks
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:30am – 12:30/1:30pm (mornings only)
• Pay: From £14.25 per hour, paid weekly through PAYE
• Requirement: Enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
