Exact Staff is hiring for our client and is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process. If you have experience with quality control, blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Details

Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM (schedule may change during the busy season)
Overtime: Required

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform in-process and final quality control inspections
  • Conduct first-piece inspections on machine setup parts
  • Inspect production from turret punch, laser cutting, welding, shear, press brake, and other manufacturing processes
  • Tag, stamp, or otherwise identify quality-approved parts
  • Log rejected parts and document inspection results
  • Enter inspection data into the MRP system
  • Collect SPC data when requested by customers
  • Perform tool maintenance and inspection
  • Communicate with customers regarding production quality issues as needed
  • Research corrective actions and support continuous quality improvement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and timekeeping requirements
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and requirements
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, gauge blocks, height gauges, and micrometers
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based programs
  • Data entry experience
  • Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent attendance and the ability to work well under pressure
