We work with children ages 18 months to 10 years old, using soccer as a vehicle to teach life skills, build confidence, and support social-emotional development.<br><br>

<strong>Key Role</strong>: <br>The Recruiting Assistant is a hybrid role combining recruiting responsibilities with on-field coaching.<br><br>
</div><div>This position supports the recruiting team in sourcing, communication, and hiring efforts, while also coaching 5–12 soccer sessions per week. Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to be both detail-oriented in recruiting tasks and energetic and engaging when working with children.<br><br>This role is ideal for someone interested in recruiting, HR, or operations who also enjoys working with children in an active, hands-on environment. You’ll support hiring efforts by managing candidate communication, scheduling, and sourcing—while also leading soccer sessions and stepping in as a coach when needed.<br><br>

<strong>Duties & Responsibilities:<br></strong>Recruiting & Administrative:</div><ul>
<li> Send applicant questionnaires and manage candidate responses </li>
<li> Coordinate candidate communication and schedule interviews </li>
<li> Assist with job postings across platforms (Indeed, CareerPlug, Breezy) </li>
<li> Help screen resumes and support interview processes </li>
<li> Track and update candidate notes and pipeline activity </li>
<li> Assist with drafting job postings, offer letters, and hiring materials </li>
<li> Attend recruiting events (job fairs, college/high school outreach) </li>
<li> Support general recruiting operations and hiring initiatives </li>
</ul><div>Coaching Responsibilities:</div><ul>
<li> Coach 5–12 soccer sessions per week </li>
<li> Substitute for coaches as needed </li>
<li> Lead structured, engaging sessions for children (ages 18 months–10 years) </li>
<li> Maintain a safe, positive, and high-energy environment during sessions </li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Requirements</strong>:</div><ul>
<li>1 year of recruiting experience </li>
<li> Experience with recruiting platforms (Indeed, CareerPlug, Breezy) </li>
<li> Willingness and availability to coach 5–12 sessions per week </li>
<li> Strong communication, organization, and time management skills </li>
<li> Ability to stay active and engage with children during sessions </li>
<li> Reliable transportation (travel across San Diego County required) </li>
<li> Ability to lift 40 lbs </li>
<li> Minimum 1-year commitment </li>
</ul><div>Certifications (required):</div><ul>
<li> TB test (per guidelines) </li>
<li> Pediatric CPR certification (within 2 months of hire) </li>
<li> Mandated Reporter Training (renewed every 2 years)</li>
</ul><div><strong>Pay & Benefits:</strong></div><ul>
<li> $18–$22/hr DOE (part-time, 15–25 hours/week) </li>
