About the Role

Department School of Nursing Compensation $95,000.00 to Negotiable Annual General Description/Primary Purpose: The School of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing. This position will report to the Interim/Director, School of Nursing. Position responsibilities will include a 4/4 teaching load. The successful candidate will: Teach in areas of expertise (e.g., Psych Mental Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Community Health, Women’s Health and Obstetrics, Research, Leadership) Participate in School committees Have experience in an active clinical practice as an RN/APRN Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise Supervisor: This position will report to the Interim Director, Dr. Debra Harrison. Working Hours: Varies Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role. Required Licensure: Licensure as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse in the state of Florida. Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 3, 2026.
