Job Description

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payment runs in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to address and resolve any payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
