This role presents an exciting opportunity to nurture the needs of students at a critical transition point in their academic journey; while fostering resilience, independence and verbal confidence through a broad and engaging adapted curriculum.
Key priorities for the role include:
* Delivering engaging and ambitious lessons in a small-group setting that support students' needs and secure strong student progress within core subjects
* Finding creative and engaging ways to deliver lessons within the core subjects of English, Maths and Science
* Supporting students to transition back into classrooms with the remaining Y7 cohort over time and ensuring that the students' curriculum stays aligned with that of the year group
* Providing small-group interventions for a range of students when the transition group are in other lessons
* Playing an active role in building student character and contributing to wider academy life, including showcasing of student work and enrichment opportunities
