Inclusion Teacher - Secondary School

Simply Education is working with secondary schools in the local area seeking Inclusion Teachers for their schools. This role presents an exciting opportunity to nurture the needs of students at a critical transition point in their academic journey; while fostering resilience, independence and verbal confidence through a broad and engaging adapted curriculum.

Key priorities for the role include:
* Delivering engaging and ambitious lessons in a small-group setting that support students' needs and secure strong student progress within core subjects
* Finding creative and engaging ways to deliver lessons within the core subjects of English, Maths and Science
* Supporting students to transition back into classrooms with the remaining Y7 cohort over time and ensuring that the students' curriculum stays aligned with that of the year group
* Providing small-group interventions for a range of students when the transition group are in other lessons
* Playing an active role in building student character and contributing to wider academy life, including showcasing of student work and enrichment opportunities

Job requirements:

• You must be eligible to work in the UK
• Ideally have experience with SEND children and working with a EHCP
• Have strong report writing skills
• Previous experience in a school environment would also be ideal
• A Passion for teaching and education
• Have a creative approach to teaching
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Passion for supporting students in their learning
• A team player
• Excellent communication
• A hard work ethic.
