<div> <p><strong>Civil/Environmental Engineer</strong><br /> <em>Location: Helena, MT</em> | <em>Full-Time Position</em> | <em>6–15 Years Experience Required</em></p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>professional civil or environmental engineer</strong> with 6–15 years of experience and a BS or MS in Civil Engineering. We are searching for a <strong>dedicated, self-motivated professional engineer (PE)</strong> to join our collaborative team.</p> <p>As a part of our diverse team, you will be involved in various projects such as site design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, reservoir design and permitting, irrigation systems, transportation infrastructure, geotechnical assessments, public involvement, and construction supervision. You will also have the chance to contribute to project management, client communication, and proposal creation.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and complete engineering design tasks utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D</p> </li> <li> <p>Create construction plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages</p> </li> <li> <p>Handle regulatory permitting with entities like EPA, State DEQs, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee and participate in fieldwork, including surveying, site inspections, and construction management</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure quality control and provide technical oversight of engineering outputs</p> </li> <li> <p>Engage in proposal writing, marketing endeavors, and regular client interactions</p> </li> <li> <p>Guide junior staff and collaborate across various disciplines</p> </li> <li> <p>Support field construction efforts by reviewing contractor submittals, pay applications, and daily logs</p> </li> <li> <p>Make informed decisions on design approaches, project scheduling, and budget allocation</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Montana and/or Wyoming (mandatory)</p> </li> <li> <p>BS or MS degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field (from an ABET-accredited program)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience of 6–15 years in civil or environmental engineering</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (highly preferred)</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities</p> </li> <li> <p>Capability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li> <li> <p>Efficiency in managing multiple tasks within specified budgets and deadlines</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel</p> </li> <li> <p>Dedicated to continual learning, collaboration, and providing quality service</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Desirable Qualities</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Exemplifies company values of <strong>service, quality, and integrity</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>Detail-oriented and responsive to client requirements</p> </li> <li> <p>Receptive to constructive feedback and collaborative efforts</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrates leadership and mentoring skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in business development or project management is advantageous</p> </li> </ul> </div>
