Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Sterile Compounding: Prepare sterile IV medications within a clean room environment following strict aseptic techniques. Prescription Fulfillment: Fill prescriptions and prepackage medications for dispensing according to government regulations and safety standards. Pharmacist Support: Assist in the final checking process by staging medications for review and coordinating accurate, timely delivery to customers. Data & Billing: Work with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into the computer system to facilitate reimbursement. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory by receiving and rotating supplies, tracking lot numbers, and monitoring expiration dates. Safety & Maintenance: Ensure a clean and safe work environment, including the calibration and cleaning of pharmacy equipment. STERILE COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Licensure: Must be a New York State (NYS) Registered Pharmacy Technician. Previous experience with Sterile IV Compounding is required Must be comfortable working in an IV clean room and following rigorous gowning and safety protocols.
