About the Role

<p>We are teaming up with a growing and creative producer of CNC machine tool accessories to find a Sales Territory Manager located in Houston, TX. This position is perfect for a sales expert with knowledge in the CNC machine tool sector who knows how to effectively sell through distribution channels and engage with end users.</p>
<p>The Sales Territory Manager will focus on cultivating new business, reinforcing distributor connections, and offering advisory solutions to improve product durability and reliability for customers in the assigned region.</p>
<h4>Key Duties</h4>
<ul>

<p>Create and implement a strategic sales strategy to meet or surpass revenue targets in the designated territory</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Identify, target, and build relationships with distributors and key end users in the CNC and manufacturing field</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Act as a reliable consultant to distribution partners, suggesting solutions for customer issues related to performance and reliability</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Conduct product showcases and demonstrations to effectively convey product value and technical benefits</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and support teams for efficient customer assistance</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Monitor industry trends, competition, and market developments to discover new prospects</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Prepare and update accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline information</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to showcase products and expand market reach</p>
</li>

<h4>Requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Demonstrated success in B2B sales; background in CNC, machine tools, industrial equipment, or manufacturing is preferred</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience in selling through distribution channels and managing distributor relationships</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Self-motivated and results-driven, with the capacity to independently manage a territory</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Willingness to travel within the territory as needed (TX, LA, OK, MO, IA, AR); overnight travel up to 7 nights per month</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused, consultative sales approach</p>
