About the role:
Justteachers are recruiting for a Maths Teacher on behalf of a secondary school in Bradford for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential while fostering a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students in achieving their academic targets.
- Contribute to departmental planning and development.
- Participate in parents’ evenings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering engaging lessons.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
