About the Role
<p><strong>Senior Engineering Manager | Cheshire | £75k+P</strong></p>

<p>Your Role:</p>
<p>As Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for:</p>
<p>Managing all site technical and engineering aspects during construction.<br />
Supervising roads, sewers, utilities, and communal areas to ensure compliance with planning, design, and NHBC requirements.<br />
Procuring and managing adoption agreements for roads and sewers, including historical legacy sites.<br />
Coordinating third-party consultants, utility providers, and contractors to meet build programmes and budgets.<br />
Conducting inspections, spot checks, and overseeing remedial works.<br />
Managing engineering-related customer care issues in liaison with the Customer Care Team.<br />
Reviewing engineering and design packages, issuing drawings, and ensuring consistency with approved planning layouts.<br />
Supporting departmental budgeting and bond management.<br />
Key Qualifications & Experience:</p>
<p>Degree or equivalent in an engineering-related subject.<br />
Minimum 3 years in a similar role with another housebuilder.<br />
Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Local Highway Design Guides.<br />
Strong knowledge of:<br />
Sewers for Adoption and Section 38, 111, 228, 278 of the Highways Act.<br />
Building Regulations (Parts L & M) and NHBC inspection procedures.<br />
Road opening licensing, utility coordination, and groundworks.<br />
Demonstrated ability to manage costs, value engineer, and resolve technical site issues.<br />
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.<br />
