Air Conditioning Installation Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Basic + Overtime
OTE: Up to £70,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing HVAC contractor delivering commercial projects across the North West.
The Role
As an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Installation of VRV/VRF, split, multi-split, and heat pump systems.
- Refrigeration pipework, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and commissioning.
- Working from technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Liaising with site managers, contractors, and clients.
- Completing commissioning and installation paperwork.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
- F-Gas Category 1 certification.
- Experience with VRV/VRF and split systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- CSCS Card.
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
- Experience with Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Toshiba, Samsung, or similar manufacturers.

- £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary.
