A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking a motivated and ambitious professional to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience in an accountancy practice environment who is looking to build on their existing knowledge while progressing towards a professional qualification. Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Assisting with the production of management accounts, including analysis, commentary, and financial forecasting.
- Supporting personal and corporate tax compliance work, including preparation of tax returns and meeting deadlines.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and contribute to a professional team environment.
- Undertaking and reviewing accounts preparation work as directed.
Personal Requirements
- Partway through ACCA or ACA studies, or AAT qualified as a minimum.
- Previous experience within an accountancy or finance environment.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
- Confident building and maintaining client relationships.
- Able to demonstrate initiative, particularly in the use of technology.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and ideally experienced with Xero and other cloud accounting software packages.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to continue developing professionally.
