This includes evaluation, treatment, and education programs for patients to restore speech, language, and swallowing abilities.</p><h4>Essential Functions of the Role</h4><ul><li>Evaluates, treats and monitors patient within the speech pathology treatment plan. Modifies therapy program and goals.</li><li>Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately. Knows reimbursement related to practice setting.</li><li>Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family, and staff.</li><li>Supervises students and volunteers. Clinical fellowship mentors and those in their clinical fellowship period follow the American Speech Language Hearing Association supervision guidelines.</li><li>Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and evidence-based practice. Imparts knowledge to develop colleagues' clinical skills. Adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.</li><li>Maintains awareness of system goals. Aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.</li></ul><h4>Key Success Factors</h4><ul><li>Must possess excellent social relation skills to include excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Must demonstrate aptitude in assigned areas as specified for each clinician.</li><li>Exhibits proven face-to-face synergy and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team. Assures delivery of excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.</li><li>Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment.</li><li>High attention to detail in fast paced and dynamic environment.</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity.</li></ul><h4>Belonging Statement</h4><p>We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.</p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li>EDUCATION - Masters'</li><li> EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience</li><li> CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - <br> Speech Language Pathlogist (SLP)<br> Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.</li></ul>
